Happy 9 Months Lil' Lady!

9 months! How are you 9 months old?! I know I say it every month but wow is time flying.
You are measuring 28 in tall, weighing 17 pounds and have a 17 inch size head. Even though you are growing you are now only in the 30th percentile for weight. Somehow you haven't lost any of your rolls though:) You are pretty much in 9 month clothes and size 6-12 month clothes.

You absolutely love standing. You can pull yourself to your knees and if you're holding on to something really solid you can pull to standing.

I think you are close to crawling. You can move every way except forward. You rock on your hands and knees but just can't get the forward motion. You usually end up stuck in downward dog;)

You have finally started eating solids. It's been a slow progress but at least there is progress. You LOVE your mesh teether. You scream when you see me preparing it and don't stop until you get it. You are eating yogurt and love feeding yourself. You are starting to pick up little pieces of food and feed yourself. You are very much a do-it-yourselfer but you are allowing us to feed you a little with a spoon.

When you are sitting in your highchair and are done with something or don't like something you throw it on the ground. I would really like this to stop so we are working on signing and using the word no:)

You still HATE bath time. You are like a cat, when you hear the water starting you deathgrip whomever is holding you and scream. I do not get it since you still love swimming.

It has been another busy month!

We celebrated your godmother's upcoming nuptials.

 We went to the zoo.

 We celebrated a friend's birthday.

 Went to Tahoe to celebrate your cousin Ella's first birthday and Father's Day.

Went to Santa Cruz and met our amazing Maryland friends.

 We celebrated Daddy's birthday going to you second Giants game.

Your personality is very funny. You are definitely my serious child. Don't get me wrong, you love to smile but you don't give up smiles or laughs for anyone. You do love to smile for the camera which makes for good pictures:) You are very much a mama's girl. Pretty much you always need to be touching me, literally. If it looks like I'm putting you down or walking away you scream. If anyone else tries to hold you (except Dada), you scream.

Sometimes if someone else even tries to talk to you, you scream. Do you see a theme here? You scream a lot.

You were such an easy baby up until 6 months and now you are not so easy. You will still hang out in the stroller or car seat on your own but when we're home or people are getting in your space you freak. I think if you figure out how to crawl soon it will help. Your brother can still do no wrong in your eyes. You LOVE him!

You also want to be included on kid things, especially if your brother is involved.

Your sleep has not been great lately either. You take amazing naps, 2 a day, 1-3 hours long but at night you have been waking up almost 3 times a night. I am hoping that now you are eating more solids we can decrease this to one. You also need to start crawling because almost every time I go in there you are rocking on all fours. You also get up early, before 6 am, but if you aren't crying than I make you wait until 6 because no one needs to be up in the 5 am hour;) I did this with your brother too and he figured out how to sleep later.

I don't mean to complain too much because we love you so much! You are an amazing baby girl and we can't imagine life without you.
