How far along: 36 weeks! I am due in just four weeks! I also now go to the doctor every week.
Size of baby: Still a guess. I don't know why this annoys me:) A honeydew melon, almost 6 pounds and 18.5 inches long.
My body: I am really loving this slow leg hair growth. Especially since it is so hard to bend over. My hair (on my head) has gotten pretty long and my nails grow pretty fast. My belly button is still on it's way out. I don't yet have that line that goes down your belly. The hubby thinks its still coming but I hope not! I haven't had any stretch marks (crossing my fingers that stays true) and I hear that this is normally a hereditary thing and no one in my family got them. I can only sleep on my right side for less than an hour or my hip really starts to hurt. Only happens on that side, don't know why!
Movement: Continuous. He had stayed away from my right ribs over the last week but he moved back today. He is pretty low and now punches my groin...fun! He also hits these nerves that makes it feel like nails scratching the inside of my hooha. It hurts so bad I end up bent over in pain. Last week Kevin's arm ended up over my stomach while we were going to sleep and Lucas was moving. Kevin couldn't believe that is what I was feeling all night and related the baby to an alien...again:)
Sleep: Blah. I am so uncomfortable and it doesn't help that I wake myself up worrying about things I need to do either.
Symptoms: Still the same and continuous. I think I've only felt one Braxton Hicks contraction.
Cravings: Oh how I love a good pear! Kevin's company brings in huge fruit baskets each day and if there is a pear in there when he is leaving he will bring it home for me. We have to find out where these people get their fruit because I have yet to pick out a pear that is perfectly ripened like the ones they get. I also really have been craving smoothies but I found out this little town I now live in has no smoothie shop anywhere close so I started making my own...mmmmm!
Aversions: No new ones.
What I'm looking forward to: My last shower this weekend and I only have 6 more work days left!
Baby Daddy: He has been talking to Lucas a little more and feeling my stomach a bit more. I love it. He is also in full nesting mode:)
Thoughts: I have been so sure that this little one is going to come early because he has been head down since at least 29 weeks, he is so low and it seems like he just is ready to come out. Last week my doctor asked if I have felt any contractions. I haven't had any yet. I have read that most people have felt Braxton Hicks contractions by now but I have felt only one and that is a maybe. I am so curious what my son's birthday will be:)
