11 Months Old!

Lucas,
You turned 11 months old on February 25th. Things have been pretty crazy so this is going to be short and sweet because there are still some things that I want you to know about this month. You hung out with friends
and family.
You celebrated your first Super Bowl.
The biggest events were your first plane ride and you became a full-blown walker. We went and visited Auntie Shira in Maine and you did amazingly on the planes.
We got so many comments on how good you were and when people passed us to get off the plane you would wave to them giving everyone such big smiles. You are quite the social butterfly when you are close to mom. You love Auntie Shira's dog, Chase, but Chase isn't too sure about kiddos so whenever you would try and walk over to him he would get up and move.
You were determined to get to him though so you would just take more and more steps until there was almost no stopping you.
You love and prefer to be walking all. the. time. You are one fast little guy!
Daddy couldn't believe how much you grew in the five days we were gone. You also started making new reactive noises when we were on the trip so you really came back with new "tricks." You also saw your first snow but it was too cold to touch it. You love to dance. You have quite the moves and almost anytime you hear music you start dancing, even if you are sitting in your carseat or high chair. You still love food.
You are such an amazing eater.

Your naps are great, taking two a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Your night sleep isn't too bad either waking only once to eat but you still love to get up right at 6 am (yawn…). You have started getting a little less upset in swim class when the teacher holds you but you still prefer that she not get near you. We also started music class and you love all the instruments, songs and music. I'm sure it didn't hurt that Dad introduced drums to you.
Outside of our little coastal bubble we went and had a play date with your friends Mav and Audri. You are still figuring out how to interact with kids but these two are so social I think it won't be long before you get with it. You had a great day but preferred to just watch them:) We missed a pic with Mav but here's Audri feeding you a pinecone!
You have so much fun with Daddy.
You are a goofball and we love every minute with you!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
